Greenberg Traurig’s Lori Cohen and Sara Thompson to Speak at American Conference Institute’s Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference

NEW YORK – Dec. 02, 2016 – Lori G. Cohen and Sara K. Thompson, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Atlanta office, will speak at the American Conference Institute’s 21st Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference, taking place in New York Dec. 5-7. Greenberg Traurig is also a Lead Sponsor of the conference.

Cohen, who chairs the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice and the Trial Practice Group, and co-chairs the Atlanta Litigation practice, will moderate the opening GC and CLO Roundtable: “What Keeps Me Up at Night When Faced With a Products Liability Action” on the first Main Conference Day on Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m. Thompson, a shareholder in the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice, will be part of an Afternoon Breakout Session on “Mock Medical Device Preemption Motion to Dismiss: Formulating a Robust Defense Strategy for Sales Reps in the OR, MDR-based claims, Off-Label and More” on Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

The annual conference brings together more than 400 members of the products liability defense bar with speakers from more than 25 diverse pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
