Greenberg Traurig Germany advises Nicolas Berggruen Holdings on the sale of a housing portfolio in Berlin

Berlin, Jan. 16, 2017 – Greenberg Traurig Germany has advised Nicolas Berggruen Holdings GmbH on the sale of a housing portfolio. A Luxembourgian investment company acquired the property as part of an asset deal. The portfolio includes 14 properties in Berlin with over 400 residential units and an area of approximately 32,000 square meters. The purchase price amounted to a high two-digit million sum.

Nicolas Berggruen Holdings GmbH is an owner-managed real estate investment company based in Berlin. Nicolas Berggruen founded the company in 2005. Since then, the company has invested around 370 million euros in the acquisition and renovation of some 100 properties in Berlin and Potsdam.
