Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Ryan Bailine Appointed to University of Miami School of Architecture Advisory Board

MIAMI – June 2, 2017 – Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Ryan D. Bailine has been appointed to the University of Miami School of Architecture Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism (MRED+U) Advisory Board.

The purpose of the Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism (MRED+U) Advisory Board is to provide advice and counsel regarding the mission, goals and strategic planning of the masters program; promote the MRED+U program and the School of Architecture locally, nationally and internationally to help recruit the best qualified students and strengthen its academic reputation; enhance the financial resources of the MRED+U program and School while enhancing its ties to the industry and business communities; and work alongside the Dean, MRED+U Program Director, Faculty and Administration in guiding the school to global preeminence.

“We welcome the addition of Ryan Bailine to our distinguished board and believe that his accomplishments and experience in real estate and transactional law will continue to further our mission of providing an outstanding entrepreneurial program in real estate development by exposing our students to exceptional industry professionals who promote the MRED+U program both within the classroom and in a mentor capacity,” said Dr. Charles Bohl, Associate Professor and Director of the University of Miami’s MRED+U program.

Bailine, who is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, focuses his practice on the development of complex real estate projects, including real estate, land use, regulatory and financing aspects. Particularly noted for his responsiveness to his clients’ needs and development acumen, Bailine represents some of the most active and prolific developers in Florida, advising on residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects, including Transit Oriented Developments (TOD) and affordable housing developments. He routinely works with local, regional and national regulatory agencies to facilitate the permitting, construction and financing of real estate projects, including negotiating ground leases, development agreements and development rights transfers, together with infrastructure and utility components.
