Miami Shareholder Brigid F. Cech Samole and Austin Shareholder Kendyl T. Hanks are leading a panel entitled, “Tour of the Ivory Tower: The Supreme Court Decisions That Will Affect Your Business.” Fellow panelists include Ginger D. Anders, partner, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP; and Jaime A. Santos, associate, Goodwin Procter LLP. Drawing from their own experiences in federal courts of appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, the panel features a discussion of major developments in the Court over the last term, with a specific emphasis on major business cases.

NAWL’s Fourteenth General Counsel Institute Leading to Legacy: Building A Career That Builds A Community was open to senior corporate counsel of public, private, large, and small companies; as well as non-profits, government, and educational institutions. This year’s conference focused on building careers that build a community. Cech Samole focuses her practice on appellate law and trial support. She represents clients in both state and federal courts, and brings a practical and client-driven approach to her work.

Hanks is an experienced appellate advocate, licensed in Texas and New York, who represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the country in high-stakes business litigation and constitutional test cases.
