Greenberg Traurig Elevates Adil M. Khan to Shareholder in Los Angeles Office, as Firm Reports Record-Setting Revenue

LOS ANGLES – March 5, 2018 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Adil M. Khan to shareholder in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig elevated 42 attorneys to shareholder from 21 of the firm’s offices and 14 practice areas, with female attorneys making up 50 percent of the firm’s 2018 new shareholder class.

“Adil has become an established and trusted member of our LA team,” Los Angeles Co-Managing Shareholders Jeff Scott and Greg Fishman said in a joint statement. “We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him continued success in his new role.”

In addition to the elevations, Greenberg Traurig reported firmwide revenue for FY2017 of $1,477,180,000, an increase of 7.28 percent over 2016. This is the fourth consecutive year of record-setting revenues for the firm. The firm’s Profit per Equity Partner increased 5.42 percent to a record $1,634,000.

Khan is a commercial litigator with a primary focus on commercial disputes, class actions, and labor and employment matters. He has diverse experience in all phases of civil litigation, from the pleadings stage through trial. He has represented companies in a variety of contexts, including asserting claims against former executives and managers for theft of trade secret, unfair competition, and fraud.

Khan also has experience with consumer class action litigation, including the defense of a publicly traded, for-profit owner of various "trade schools" in multiple class actions alleging claims under Unfair Competition Law, False Advertising Law, and Consumer Legal Remedies Act. In prior years, Kahn gained considerable experience in representing several juice makers in defending claims of false advertising under the Lanham Act.
