GT Team Wins M&A Deal of the Year Award at IJGlobal Awards

CHICAGO – March 16, 2018 – A team of attorneys in the Chicago office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP were honored with the North American M&A Deal of the Year Award at the IJGlobal Americas Awards in New York on March 15.

IJGlobal is an online intelligence service that tracks global infrastructure finance market activity. The annual IJGlobal Americas Awards recognize the best energy and infrastructure deals, based on performance, innovation, and excellence.

The Greenberg Traurig team won the North American M&A Deal of the Year Award for their representation of institutional investors in the purchase of $263 million senior secured notes issued in connection with a public-private partnership (P3) involving the acquisition of a long-term concession for the operation of the Northwest Parkway, a toll road located near Denver.

The team included shareholders Charles J. Kolin, David J. LaSota, Michael D. Robson, Julia J. Singh, and Chad Striker; Of Counsel Zachary A. Luber; and associates Lonneke M. Purucker and Pedro F. Eraso.
