Renowned Trusts & Estates Attorney Marc Selden Joins GT’s Private Wealth Services Practice in New York

New York – Oct. 2, 2019 – Renowned Trusts & Estates attorney Marc Selden has joined the Private Wealth Services Practice in the New York office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, as a shareholder. Selden joins from Cozen O'Connor, where he was head of the New York City Private Client Services Group.

Selden advises high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate and tax planning. He focuses his practice on the preparation of wills and trusts, insurance planning, and the creation of family limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, charitable trusts, and prenuptial agreements. He works with clients to create domestic and off-shore asset protection structures, such as domestic and foreign asset protection trusts. Additionally, Selden advises executors and trustees on the administration of complex trusts and estates.

Selden is a nationally recognized lecturer on estate planning and asset protection topics. He is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association; a member of the International Fiscal Association; and a member of the Laureate Center for Wealth Advisors. Selden received an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law; a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law; and a B.A., cum laude, from State University of New York at Albany.
