Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Speak at DeviceTalks Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS - Sept. 9, 2019 Greenberg Traurig, LLP attorneys Stephen Baird, Marcella C. Ducca, and David J. Dykeman will speak at DeviceTalks Minnesota, Sept. 9-10, at the Hyatt Regency, Minneapolis. On Sept. 9, from 3:30-4:15 p.m., Dykeman, a patent attorney, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group, and co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Group in Boston, will moderate the panel, “Hot Topics: M&A, IP and Products Liability Trends Impacting MedTech.” He will be joined by Baird, trademark attorney and shareholder in the firm’s IP Group (Minneapolis); Ducca, co-chair of the firm’s Atlanta Products Liability Litigation Group; Jamie Ackley, chief IP counsel for Cantel Medical Corp; and Kenneth Karanja, technology licensing officer, University of Minnesota.

The panel will focus on the pressing issues currently facing medtech communities, including trends in M&A from the perspective of both acquirer and seller, and IP and products liability litigation.
