Greenberg Traurig’s Adil M. Khan Named 2020 Fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

LOS ANGELES –  Jan. 29, 2020 – Shareholder Adil M. Khan of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Los Angeles office has been named a 2020 Fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). 

LCLD’s prestigious Fellows Program is committed to identifying high-achieving attorneys from diverse backgrounds and preparing them for leadership roles within their organizations. The year-long program involves conferences, training, peer-group projects focused on collaboration and relationship-building, and meetings with LCLD’s leadership and teachers in the industry. 

Khan is a commercial litigator with a primary focus on commercial disputes, class actions, and labor and employment matters. He has diverse experience in virtually all phases of civil litigation, from the pleadings stage through trial, in both state and federal courts.

Khan has represented companies in a variety of contexts and subject matters, including commercial real estate disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, alleged lender liability, theft of trade secret, unfair competition, and fraud. He also has broad experience in class action defense.  

Listed among The Legal 500 United States for Labor and Employment, Khan concentrates on the defense of wage-and hour-class actions under federal and state law, as well as individual and multi-plaintiff claims involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. 

In addition to his private practice, Khan is deeply involved in pro bono and community activities. He currently serves as chair of the Muslim Public Affairs Council’s Board of Directors.
