Greenberg Traurig advises Pacifico Renewables Yield AG on the acquisition of a EUR 36.8 million photovoltaic portfolio

Berlin, March 27, 2020 – Greenberg Traurig advised Pacifico Renewables Yield AG on the purchase of eight photovoltaic systems in Germany with a capacity of 21.2 megawatts. The enterprise value of the portfolio amounts to EUR 36.8 million, including long-term project financing, and will be fully owned by Pacifico Renewables Yield AG. The transaction is expected to be completed in early May 2020.

The acquired portfolio consists of five ground-mounted and three rooftop solar systems spread across five German states.

Greenberg Traurig advised Pacifico Renewables Yield AG on energy, real estate and corporate law aspects of the transaction.

Background: Greenberg Traurig advised Pacifico Renewables Yield AG in connection with restructuring measures in preparation for the IPO of Pacifico Renewables Yield AG. The company was converted into an AG last year and has been listed on the Open Market of the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange since November 2019.
