David Harburger Presents ‘Building IP as an Asset’

BOSTON – Nov. 05, 2021 David Harburger, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Intellectual Property (IP) & Technology and Life Sciences & Medical Technology Practices, spoke at the virtual Founder-Led Biotech Summit Nov. 4.

Harburger’s session, “Building IP as an Asset,” discussed core inquiries that bio entrepreneurs should consider early in the company life cycle. Harburger also discussed best practices for patent estates with the goal of increasing company value, streamlining activity, and setting the stage for successful partnering discussions around intellectual property.  

Harburger, located in Greenberg Traurig’s Boston office, is a patent attorney working closely with life sciences clients from the early stages of formation and beyond to align their IP strategy with their business goals. He advises on patent preparation and prosecution, patent portfolio management, freedom-to-operate, patent invalidity, non-infringement, IP and clinical strategy coordination, and IP due diligence matters. He also advises investors in IP related matters in financing rounds.
