Kemal Hawa to Moderate on the Proximo Digital Infrastructure Finance Americas Webinar

McLEAN, VA – Feb. 25, 2021 – Kemal Hawa, a shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will moderate a panel discussion on “Secondary succession processes: M&A market conditions reviewed” hosted by Proximo Digital Infrastructure Finance Americas on March 3, 2021 from 1:10 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.  

The panel includes Tom Maher, Head of Business Development at Whitehelm Capital; Bob DeSantis, Chief Executive Officer of 365 Data Centers; Sam Southall, Senior Vice President of Macquarie Group; and Thomaz Dreifuss, Director of TMT M&A Advisory, Latin America at BNP Paribas.

The panel will discuss the state of M&A in the digital infrastructure sector, investment theses of various types of financial investors, Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) as potential avenues for consolidation in towers, tower leases, and data centers, and trends in debt financing arrangements.

Hawa, a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate Practice, focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the telecommunications, media, tower, and technology industries, domestically and internationally. He regularly advises public and private companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and creditors’ committees on a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and restructurings, investments, financing arrangements, licensing agreements, and commercial transactions.
