Greenberg Traurig wins the 2021 Pro-Women Company Award at the Top Woman in Real Estate Gala

WARSAW, August 31, 2021 - The Warsaw Office of Greenberg Traurig was awarded the Pro-Women Company award in the fourth edition of the Top Woman in Real Estate Gala, which celebrates women and companies supporting women’s professional development and promotes good practices and business relations in the real estate and construction sector. The special award category - Pro-Women Company is addressed to companies operating in the real estate sector, which focus on women’s growth in business and in the previous year showed outstanding results in this area.

Małgorzata Madej-Balcerowska, Local Partner in the Greenberg Traurig real estate department, won the award in the Legal Advisory Services category, addressed to women providing legal advisory to clients in the real estate sector, who had outstanding achievements in the past year.

Greenberg Traurig was also recognized as a World Changer Company for its continuous support to real estate women provided in the Top Woman in Real Estate mentoring programme.

The Warsaw office, where almost 60% of the team are women, was recently awarded the prestigious Poland Firm of the Year award at the highly esteemed Euromoney Legal Media Group “Women in Business Law Awards 2021 Europe”. The awards celebrate law firms that have developed strong innovative practices and projects that highlight gender diversity, as well as women lawyers working in business law.

Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch will soon become the new Managing Partner of the Warsaw Office of Greenberg Traurig and together with Rafał Baranowski and Radomił Charzyński, the management team will succeed Jarosław Grzesiak who has led the office for over 20 years.

The recent announcement of the leadership change marks the 30th anniversary of the presence of the firm's team on the Polish market and is the culmination of a long-term transformation plan and implementation of the firm's strategy.
