Neil Miller is a member of the Entertainment & Media Practice in Greenberg Traurig's London office. He focuses his practice on music and technology with a concentration on digital music licensing and social media. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Neil spent 20 years as an in-house attorney in the media and entertainment industry with a focus on digital media, latterly as General Counsel at SoundCloud and as head of Facebook’s international music licensing team.

  • Negotiating numerous highly complex licensing agreements with music rightsholders in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region with respect to use of music in user-uploaded audio and audiovisual content.°
  • Strategic counselling on monetization of user-uploaded content.°
  • Advising on DMCA and related compliance programs for social media and other user-upload platforms.°
  • Strategic counselling, advice, negotiation, and transaction management for corporate transactions, including venture financing and M&A.°
