Sarah Richardson is a litigator with broad commercial experience and a primary focus on products liability. Sarah has represented various types of organizations, including pharmaceutical and medical device companies, consumer product manufacturers, banks and financial institutions, asset management funds, and educational institutions. Her work varies from single-plaintiff actions in state court to some of the largest MDLs in the country.

Sarah is experienced in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations and investigations, fact and expert discovery, to depositions, pretrial motions and pleadings. She has trial experience, as well as experience with oral arguments, mediations, and settlements. Sarah is known for her thorough approach to litigation and her highly responsive client service.



  • Representation of a medical device manufacturer in one of the largest active MDLs in the country.
  • Defending an asset manager in a sexual harassment lawsuit.
  • Representation of creditor-financial institution in judgment enforcement action against defaulting debtor.
  • Defended product manufacturer in multi-party products liability wrongful death lawsuit and helped to negotiate a zero-participation settlement for client.
  • Defended consumer product manufacturer in several high-exposure products liability lawsuits.
  • Pro bono representation of victims of domestic violence in obtaining permanent resident status.
  • Trial team member for global pharmaceutical manufacturer in a series of back-to-back trials.°
  • Represented special litigation committee of the board of directors of a large for-profit educational institution in responding to several shareholder demand letters.°
  • Represented private equity fund in a breach of contract suit brought by a former partner.°
