The Various Faces of Risk
AML is always at the forefront of risks facing the gaming industry, but what other forms of financial and other risks are of critical consideration in the rapidly evolving global gaming market? How do operators and regulators protect themselves from the threats posed by cross-border transactions and the constant efforts some individuals make to subvert the related AML restrictions and safeguards? What other external and internal threats are operators facing regarding their overall security given the fallout from the 2017 Manila and Las Vegas, and what can the industry do to more proactively prepare for such incomprehensible threats? This session will take a critical look at the wide range of threats facing global gaming and set the stage for the day’s in depth discussions on financial crime and other areas of risk facing operators, suppliers and regulators.
