Entertainment Law 2020: Book Publishing; Right of Publicity; Litigation Update in Mobile/Digital; Film

PLI’s Entertainment Law 2020: Book Publishing; Right of Publicity; Litigation Update in Mobile/Digital; Film program will feature experienced entertainment attorneys and business executives discussing legal, financial, business, and ethical issues in the practice of entertainment law, with a focus on new methods of delivery. GT’s Ian C. Ballon (LA/SV) will speak on the session “Current Developments in Mobile, Cloud and Digital/Internet Entertainment.” The session will focus on the hottest cases that litigators and transactional lawyers need to know about; class action suits, including suits involving children; making sense of LiveJournal and other new DMCA case law; pre-1972 sound recordings; and text and email marketing litigation.
