The Belonging Project - Developing and Exercising Cultural Competency as a Core Leadership Trait

In the rapidly expanding global marketplace, marked by a global pandemic and driven by employees with widely differing political and social views, leaders must possess cultural competency or the ability to effectively interact with and lead people of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. This panel will discuss best practices to develop and exercise cultural competency as a necessary skill to drive success in our ever-changing social and political climate. Debra Sydnor, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will be moderating.

The Belonging Project is a national effort by Seyfarth Shaw LLP and its industry partners to support and build community among diverse law students, attorneys, and their allies to combat the impact of COVID-19 on diversity in the profession. It brings together legal industry partners to provide tools, resources, and programs to support the continuing personal and professional development of diverse legal talent.
