Greenberg Traurig snags Boston finance law boutique’s attorneys

Greenberg Traurig LLP has scooped up all five attorneys from the Boston law firm Michaels Ward & Rabinovitz LLP, which specializes in securities litigation and financial regulation.

Among the new arrivals is Pete Michaels, who started a previous incarnation of Michaels Ward in 1996, after stints at the firm then known as Bingham Dana & Gould in Boston and Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP and Shearson Lehman Brothers in New York.

Joining him are shareholders Daniel Rabinovitz and David Ward, of counsel John Wells, and associate Cliff Anderson. The attorneys begin at Greenberg on Monday.
