Greenberg Traurig’s Robert J. Ivanhoe Co-Chairs 2016 Mad. Sq. Award Breakfast

NEW YORK – Feb. 10, 2016 – Global Real Estate Practice Chair Robert J. Ivanhoe from Greenberg Traurig, LLP  co-chaired Madison Square Park Conservancy’s 2016 Mad. Sq. Award Breakfast. The breakfast honored the 2016 recipient of the Mad. Sq. Award, Edward V. Piccinich, executive vice president for SL Green Realty Corp. The event occurred Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at The Prince George Ballroom.

According to the Conservancy, the award recognizes an individual or company that is influential in the Madison Square neighborhood. Piccinich and SL Green Realty Corp. are recognized for their positive impact in the neighborhood as owner of One and Eleven Madison Avenue and donor of Madison Square Park’s office space. Greenberg Traurig's Real Estate Practice represented SL Green in its acquisition of 11 Madison in 2015.

Licensed by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the Madison Square Park Conservancy, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), manages Madison Square Park. The Conservancy’s mission is to protect, nurture, and enhance the park. Funds raised through the 2016 Mad. Sq. Award Breakfast will go toward maintaining the park as well as its free cultural programs, including the park’s contemporary art program.
