Greenberg Traurig Received Multiple Honors at the 2016 Turnaround Atlas Awards

CHICAGO – May 18, 2016 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received three awards at Global M&A Network’s 8th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards May 17, 2016, in New York.

The firm was honored with the following awards:

  • “Private Equity Turnaround of the Year – Middle Markets” award for its role in Versa Capital Management’s acquisition of The Wet Seal.

The team was led by Nancy A. Peterman and included Howard J. Steinberg, Andrew R. Cardonick, Chad D. Striker, R. Bruce Steinert Jr., Marc E. Harrison, Todd A. Mazur, Paul R. Hogan, Paul T. Martin, and Jane Kim.

  • “Chapter 11 Restructuring of the Year – Middle Markets” award for its role in Global Geophysical Services’ Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization.

The team was led by Nancy A. Mitchell and Shari L. Heyen, and included David R. Eastlake and Matthew L. Hinker.

  • “Retail Services Turnaround of the Year” award for its role in Frederick’s of Hollywood’s Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization and acquisition by Authentic Brands Group.

The team was led by Jeffrey M. Wolf and Nancy A. Mitchell, and included Matthew L. Hinker and Timothy P. Manning.

According to Global M&A Network, the Turnaround Atlas Awards honors excellence in categories of best value-creating transactions, outstanding firms, influential professionals, and leaders from the restructuring, bankruptcy, special situation deals, and turnaround communities, world-wide.
