Greenberg Traurig’s Kemal Hawa To Present at the 5th Annual Chicago & Midwest Data Center Summit

CHICAGO – June 13, 2016 – Shareholder Kemal Hawa of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will be presenting at the Fifth Annual Chicago & Midwest Data Center Summit. Hosted by CapRate Events, LLC, the event will take place June 13-14, 2016, at The Westin Chicago River North in Chicago.

Hawa will be hosting the session “Trending Now: Key Issues in Data Center Leases & MSAs, and Nuances of SLAs” June 14 at 1:45 p.m. The discussion will focus on the most hotly contested provisions in data center leases and MSAs, and the most common areas of disagreement confronted in negotiating SLAs.

According to the summit’s website, the event will attract more than 300 senior-level executives and decision makers in the data center and connectivity arenas. The two-day event includes more than 40 speakers who will be discussing comprehensive market analyses of the opportunities and challenges in Midwest markets. In addition to informational panels, there will also be ample networking opportunities.

Hawa focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on the telecommunications, media, and technology industries, domestically and internationally. Hawa regularly advises public and private companies, private equity firms, investment banks, and creditors’ committees on a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and restructurings, investments, financing arrangements, licensing agreements, and commercial transactions.
