NEW YORK – Sept. 6, 2016 – A team from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP assisted Vista Equity Partners (Vista), a leading private equity firm focused on software, data, and technology-enabled businesses, in its acquisition of Regulatory DataCorp, Inc. (RDC) from Bain Capital Ventures and others. The team, led by New York office Corporate & Securities Shareholder Daniel Serota, included the following firm attorneys:

According to an RDC press release, Vista Equity Partners is a U.S.-based private equity firm with offices in Austin, Chicago, and San Francisco, with more than $26 billion in cumulative capital commitments, which currently invests in software, data, and technology-based organizations led by world-class management teams with long-term perspective.

Financial terms have not been disclosed.
