Greenberg Traurig Represents Inversiones Latin America Power Limitada in a U.S. $412 Million Senior Secured Guaranteed Note Offering

NEW YORK (Oct. 16, 2017) –Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented Inversiones Latin America Power Limitada (ILAP), a Chilean power generation company, in its issuance of a U.S. $412 million senior secured guaranteed note through a private placement. The proceeds of the offering were used by ILAP to finance two wind farm development projects in Chile with a combined estimated capacity of approximately 230MW.

ILAP is a power generation company aiming to improve the energy matrix in Chile and Peru using renewable sources, while maintaining close relationships with local communities, generating value for shareholders and protecting the environment. Since 2011, ILAP has invested in numerous projects in the power generation industry, from hydroelectric projects to power plants and wind farms.
