Greenberg Traurig’s Bernadette Rappold Speaks at The Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas Conference

DANA POINT, CA – Nov. 27, 2017 – Bernadette M. Rappold, shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at The Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas Conference (RNG Coalition), Nov. 27-30, in Dana Point, CA. Rappold is a panelist for “RFS2 HOT BUTTON ISSUES: RINs, Reset, 2020, REGS, EVs, Pipeline Injection Guidance & Predominantly Cellulosic Materials” Nov. 29.

RNG Coalition is a non-profit organization focused on the advancement of renewable natural gas as a clean, green, alternative, and domestic energy resource, according to the group’s website. The four-day conference brings together executives from across various industries who are interested in renewable natural gas and attaining corporate sustainability.

Rappold, a shareholder in the firm’s Environmental Practice, focuses her practice on federal and state regulatory issues related to energy and the environment. She offers clients perspective gained through years of service at the Environmental Protection Agency. While serving as a director of the Special Litigation and Projects Division in the Office of Civil Enforcement at the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, Rappold led complex enforcement actions in response to violations of the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and other environmental statutes. Her work at the EPA covered a variety of economic and industrial sectors including the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and agriculture industries.
