Greenberg Traurig's Maria Sendra Recognized as Silicon Valley Woman of Influence

SILICON VALLEY – May 19, 2017 – Maria Sendra, a shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was recently recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as a “Women of Influence” for 2017. The 2017 “Women of Influence” list highlights women making a difference in their industry and community, shattering glass ceilings, and helping others along the way. Sendra and her fellow recipients were recognized at the Women of Influence awards dinner on May 18.

 

In addition to Maria’s recognition, Greenberg Traurig shareholder Leslie Katz was recently recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the “Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” for 2017. G. Michelle Ferreira, managing shareholder of the firm’s San Francisco office, is among the San Francisco Business Times Forever Influential Honor Roll” and was also recognized for her continued influence in Bay Area business.

 

Sendra has built an emerging technologies practice that helps companies to scale innovation globally by leveraging capital markets, private equity, and technology relationships in key jurisdictions around the world. She has managed international teams of over 500 experts, in helping to globally scale start-ups, as well as Fortune 500 companies, venture capital, private equity, and investment banking efforts in disrupting a wide variety of industries, including data analytics, IoT, energy, cleantech, biotechnology, digital healthcare, entertainment, consumer goods, retail and e-commerce sales and scaled revenue strategies. She has structured and managed domestic and international manufacturing, R&D, distribution, financing, licensing, and strategic alliances and businesses linking California innovation to financial markets in New York, London, all over Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
