Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Win The M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Award

NEW YORK – Aug. 1, 2017 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP is pleased to announce that Shareholders Audry X. Casusol, Enrique A. Conde, and Richard C. Kim have won The M&A Advisor’s 8th Annual Emerging Leaders Award.

The M&A Advisor will introduce the Emerging Leaders Award winners to the business community and celebrate their achievements during a black tie awards gala at the New York Club in Manhattan on Tuesday, September 19.

“I am honored to be recognized as an Emerging Leader along with my colleagues Richard and Enrique. This award reflects the strength of the Greenberg Traurig corporate team, including its specialty areas, after another successful year advising on some of the most complex M&A and finance matters in the market,” said Casusol, who serves as a member of the Corporate Practice in Greenberg Traurig's New York office, specializing in Executive Compensation & Benefits. “It is also especially gratifying to know we’ve earned this award not only for our respective accomplishments in our industry, but also for our contributions and commitment to community service.”

The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created the annual Emerging Leaders Awards to recognize and celebrate the achievements of young professionals who have reached a significant level of success while making notable contributions to their industries and communities.

“This award recognizes our industry skills, capabilities and commitment to our communities,” said Conde, who serves as a member of the Corporate Practice and the Latin American & Iberian Practice in the firm’s Miami office. “I am proud that my colleagues Audry and Richard have also been recognized for their contributions, and look forward to our continued success as business and community leaders.”

The Emerging Leaders Awards, formerly the 40 Under 40 Awards, expanded its program from the United States in 2010 to Europe in 2016. According to David Fergusson, President and Co-CEO of The M&A Advisor, the 2017 U.S. award winners now join a truly global network of outstanding young M&A, financing and turnaround professionals.

“I am excited to have been selected as an Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor and it’s particularly rewarding to share this leadership award with Audry and Enrique. It has been an honor to use my professional skills and talents on the excellent M&A and leveraged finance transactions that we have been fortunate to work on and also to serve our community,” added Kim, who serves as a member of the Corporate Practice in the firm’s New York office.

The 2017 award winners were chosen by an independent judging panel from a pool of prominent nominees for their notable accomplishments in business and commitment to community service.
