Jay L. Cooper to Speak at the Society of Composers & Lyricists “Songs for Satire” Event

LOS ANGELES – MARCH 21, 2018 -- Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Jay L. Cooper will participate as a panelist at The Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) “Songs for Satire, Parody & Humor” event, March 27, 2018, in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Moderated by SCL SongArts LA Committee Chair Adryan Russ, the panel will discuss the legal and creative issues surrounding musical satire. Cooper, founder of Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles Entertainment Practice, will be joined on the panel by composers Steve and Julie Bernstein, and singer-songwriter Randy Rogel. The event will take place at 7:00PM in the Moroccan Ballroom of the Village Studios, the world famous LA recording complex. In addition to the panel discussion, the event will include music video presentations and live piano performances.
