According to the publication, the inaugural award recognizes women who excel in their professions; work to advance their company, firm, or community; and make a difference in the lives of Arizonans. Goodwin was recognized at an awards event on October 29, 2019 at the Phoenix Art Museum.

“I am honored to receive this award alongside so many of the state’s most widely-known and accomplished women, who come from a variety of industries,” Goodwin said.
