Greenberg Traurig Expands Corporate Practice in Las Vegas, Adds Mike Shalmy

LAS VEGAS – Nov. 5, 2020 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has expanded its Corporate Practice in Las Vegas with the return of Mike Shalmy as of counsel. Shalmy worked in Greenberg Traurig’s Las Vegas office from 2009 to 2014 and rejoins the firm after serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Diamond Resorts International, Inc.

“Mike’s deep experience in corporate law, both in the law firm and corporate counsel settings, will further strengthen our practice in Nevada. He will be a great asset to our firm and clients,” said Alan I. Annex, co-chair of the Global Corporate Practice.

Shalmy focuses his practice on corporate and commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings, private placements, and a variety of financing, acquisition, and restructuring transactions for publicly held and privately held business entities. He also advises publicly held companies on disclosure obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including the preparation of annual reports to stockholders, proxy statements, and annual and quarterly periodic reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
