Greenberg Traurig’s Tampa Office Adds Associate Raymond Jackson

TAMPA – Nov. 11, 2020 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. has expanded its Tampa office Litigation Practice and Labor & Employment Practice with the addition of Associate Raymond D. Jackson.

Jackson focuses his practice on federal and state labor and employment litigation and counseling, with an emphasis on the litigation of claims of discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblowing. His practice also includes complex commercial, environmental and toxic tort, and government investigations matters. He litigates matters during all phases, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motions practice, trial, and settlement negotiations. Jackson has represented clients in contract disputes, antitrust merger investigations, and intellectual property infringement lawsuits. His work also includes defending corporations in antitrust matters against allegations of product-hopping, pay-for-delay, and price-fixing.

Jackson is also committed to pro bono service. His volunteerism includes working for the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center Advice & Referral Clinic and representing indigent clients. He also secured asylum for a client before the U.S. Immigration Court and provided legal services at the southern border as part of an asylum/immigration project.

Jackson received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School where he was a NAACP Legal Defense Fund Earl Warren Legal Training Program Scholarship recipient and a B.A. in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University where he was a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship recipient. After law school Ray served as a federal judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.

He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. only and is authorized to engage in supervised practice in Florida under the terms of Florida Supreme Court Administrative Order AOSC20-80.
