NEW YORK – June 29, 2020 – The Legal 500 U.S. 2020 Guide (U.S. Guide) included 28 lawyers and 21 practices from Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s New York office. Firmwide, more than 150 lawyers and 38 practices were included. In addition, for the fourth consecutive year and sixth time overall, the firm was recognized as a “Top Tier” firm in “Real Estate.” The practice was previously recognized in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2014, and 2013.

According to the publisher, the U.S. Guide’s acknowledgements recognize practice area teams and practitioners who are “providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice to corporate counsel.” The recognitions are based on feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, law firm submissions, and interviews with private practice lawyers, in addition to Legal 500’s independent research in the legal market.

Adel Aslani-Far (M&A/corporate and commercial- M&A: large deals) and Robert J. Ivanhoe (Real Estate-Real Estate) have been included in the U.S. Guide’s “Hall of Fame,” which highlights individuals who are consistently recognized by their clients for being excellent legal advisors. Ivanhoe has also been recognized in the U.S. Guide as a leading individual.

Some of the commentary published in the Guide regarding Greenberg Traurig and its lawyers include:

  • 'exceptional'
  • ‘I think what makes this firm unique is the way the whole firm is willing to help you or anyone that you are working with fully understand the process…’
  • ‘The team has true effectiveness and team work is exceptional.’
  • ‘They all are team players and are available all times for any needs. They know each individual cases by heart (more than myself) which is truly remarkable.’
