FORT LAUDERDALE – Nov. 23, 2021 – Reggie Zachariah, a Corporate Practice shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., is one of 12 men to be honored in the 15th annual Galleria Fort Lauderdale’s Ford Men of Style presented by Signature Grand.
The event, which takes place on Thursday, December 2, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will feature 12 prominent executives and attorneys in Broward County who work tirelessly to have a positive impact on their communities. Twelve local charities will benefit from the funds raised during the evening.
Zachariah is participating to raise money for Kids in Distress, a nationally accredited organization, dedicated to preventing child abuse, preserving families, and assisting children who have suffered abuse or neglect. In Broward County, the group runs a five-acre campus with multiple programs in Fort Lauderdale and a four-acre campus which includes two foster family group homes in Southwest Ranches.
“I am honored to have been selected to be part of this dedicated and illustrious group of local executives,” said Zachariah. “But more importantly, I hope my participation will help raise a significant amount of funds so Kids in Distress to continue their vital work. It’s so important to children to know they are safe and secure so they can enjoy the freedom to dream about their best possible future.”
This year’s event will be live at the Galleria Fort Lauderdale Mall, with organizers hoping to surpass the $68,000 raised during the 2020 event which was held online because of the pandemic.
