Nikki Lewis Simon to Moderate Cultural Competency Panel Hosted by The Florida Bar

MIAMI – April 21, 2021Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer Nikki Lewis Simon will moderate a panel hosted by The Florida Bar, titled, “Bridging Bias and Inclusion with Cultural Competency,” on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 12 p.m. ET.

The panel will address “understanding and appreciating multiculturalism by linking cultural competence to competence in the practice of law. Simon, who is a member of The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors, will be joined by Gisela Laurent, 9th Circuit judge; C. Jade Davis, associate attorney at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP; Alisia Adamson Profit, foundering partner at HAWM Law; and Robert Grimaldi, associate attorney at Cohen Law Group.

Simon, a commercial litigator based in the firm’s Miami office, has more than 21 years of experience as a lawyer, including practical and professional experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her capacity as Greenberg Traurig’s Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, Simon designs and guides strategic initiatives and programs to deepen firmwide diversity and inclusion efforts that further enrich client engagements and community investments.
