Greenberg Traurig’s Andrew Smith Chosen as a Finalist for a Chambers & Partners Diversity & Inclusion Award

ATLANTA – June 21, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Andrew Z. Smith was recognized as a finalist for a Chambers & Partners 2021 Diversity & Inclusion Award. Smith, an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office, was recognized in the USA Private Practice future diversity and inclusion leader category. The annual awards, which were held on June 17, provide the opportunity to shine a spotlight on role models and trailblazers in pro bono and corporate social responsibility as well as inclusion. 

Smith is passionate about serving his community, and does so through board positions, advocacy for underserved populations, and pro bono work. Within Greenberg Traurig, Smith serves as pro bono chair of the Atlanta office’s Associate Committee, a role he has held since 2018. His pro bono work includes helping members of the transgender community petition for legal name changes and volunteering with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation where he sits on the Leadership Council. Smith holds positions with several other organizations, including serving as vice chair for the Board of Trustees for Quality Care for Children, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in Georgia. He also serves on the Young Alumni/Alumna Committee for the University of Georgia Law School and serves on the Atlanta Leadership Committee for Lambda Legal.
