Kate Eades


Kate Eades focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions. Her work spans a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, gaming, mining and business services.

Kate has also worked on secondment to the General Counsel's offices of a major international insurance company and of a major international pharmaceutical company.

The Chambers UK 2017 Guide describes her as "tough in the negotiating room" and "very commercial."

  • Advised Horizonte Minerals plc on the acquisition of certain assets from Glencore plc.

  • Advised AstraZeneca plc on its US$1.8 billion sale of Astra Tech to Dentsply International Inc.
