Ryan McCarthy

Ryan McCarthy focuses his practice on defending product manufacturers at all stages of product liability litigation. He has wide-ranging civil litigation experience, representing clients from numerous industries, including medical device and pharmaceuticals, toxic torts, sports equipment manufacturing, farm equipment and heavy machinery, and automotive and recreational vehicles. Ryan has broad pre-trial and trial experience, including handling depositions and discovery pretrial motions, motion hearings and trial. Ryan’s prior experience includes serving as an assistant county attorney at the Dakota County Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted adult felony crimes. Ryan also worked for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, advising in fee-to-trust land applications, child support and child protection, contracts, gaming, and employment and labor relations. Ryan is committed to supporting diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal community and serves on the board of numerous non-profit organizations.
