Litigation Tactics to Defeat Class Certification: Leveraging Pleadings, Evidence and Settlement Mechanisms

Greenberg Traurig Shareholder, Rob Herrington, will be speaking at Strafford's "Litigation Tactics to Defeat Class Certification: Leveraging Pleadings, Evidence and Settlement Mechanisms" CLE webinar on Tuesday, September 25. This CLE webinar will discuss several tools and tactics available to practitioners to defeat class actions during the certification stage. Although federal and state rules may differ, most states’ class certification requirements track those found in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure such that the examples and tips discussed in this webinar will have broad application to class actions around the country.


Robert J. Herrington is Co-Chair of the firm’s Class Action Litigation Group, and focuses his practice on defending consumer products companies in complex, multi-party litigation, including class actions, government enforcement litigation, product defect litigation and mass torts.
