29th Annual Conference on State and Federal Appeals

The University of Texas School of Law holds its 29th Annual Conference on State and Federal Appeals on June 20-21 in Austin, Texas. This conference offers MCLE including Ethics and is designed for advanced-level civil appellate practitioners. Austin Appellate Shareholder Kendyl T. Hanks facilitated an ethics CLE roundtable discussion on June 21 titled "Client Confidentiality, Advertising, and Social Media", which addressed ethically proper social media presence, maintaining client confidentiality, and compliance with attorney advertising rules as three important cornerstones of a successful and ethical law practice, as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
