Greenberg Traurig Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum Receives Lupus Foundation of America’s Hope Award

NEW YORK -- Oct. 21, 2016 -- Richard A. Rosenbaum, Executive Chairman of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, received the Hope Award from the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) during the organization’s National Gala in New York City on October 20.

Rosenbaum received the award based on the firm’s “generosity and long-standing support of lupus research and education,” according to the LFA.

“I’m humbled and honored to accept this Hope Award. We are very proud of our long-standing affiliation with the Lupus Foundation, and of the work that many members of the GT family have put in to help with this great cause,” Rosenbaum said. “We are committed to LFA and its work because we know, firsthand, that lupus is one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable and devastating diseases, and the Lupus Foundation of America is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery that is lupus. We want to see a world free of lupus.” Greenberg Traurig New York's Co-Managing Shareholder Stephen L. Rabinowitz is on the LFA board.

At the Gala, Tim Nolan, senior vice president of marketing for Lifetime, LMN & FYI networks also received the Hope Award. Additionally, the LFA presented the Barlin Family Award to Ian Harding, star of Pretty Little Liars and Lupus Foundation of America Celebrity Awareness Ambassador.
