Greenberg Traurig’s Ed Chansky to Speak at Cause Marketing Forum 2016

LAS VEGAS – May 26, 2016 – Ed Chansky, a shareholder in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice and Advertising, Marketing & Sales Promotion Law team at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the Cause Marketing Forum 2016 taking place June 1 and 2, 2016 at the J.W. Marriott in Chicago, IL.

Chansky will lead a session titled “Cause Marketing Legal Issues Q&A,” where he will be taking questions on the ins and outs of compliance with the myriad state laws governing charitable sales promotions and other forms of cause marketing, as well as issues under federal nonprofit tax law. The session will run from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. June 2, 2016.

According to its website, the Cause Marketing Forum is a gathering of great people living at the intersection of purpose and profit, with a goal of increasing the number of successful company/cause alliances by providing business and nonprofit executives with the practical information and connections they need to succeed.

Chansky is a trusted advisor to many national advertisers and non-profit organizations on cause-related marketing. He has published a number of articles on that topic and speaks regularly at conferences nationwide.
