Tiffany Fordyce Speaks at the National Employment Law Council Annual Conference

CHICAGO – April 30, 2019Tiffany Fordyce, shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Chicago office and co-chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice’s Workforce Compliance & Regulatory Enforcement group, spoke on a panel at the National Employment Law Council (NELC) Annual Conference in San Diego, April 25, 2019.

The sesion, entitled “Emerging Technologies in the Employment Space,” featured a panel discussing some of the many new technologies emerging in employment, as well as reviewing wage and hour, EEO, labor, and other considerations important to employers.

According to its website, the NELC is an organization whose membership is made up of the leading labor and employment defense attorneys in the United States, with a focus on promoting communication, professional advancement, education and networking, mentoring, and relationship building within the field. Their annual conference, which was created to foster in-depth exploration of relevant issues, is considered by many members to be their “go-to” conference for staying abreast of cutting edge developments in labor and employment law.

Fordyce, as co-chair of the firm’s Workforce Compliance & Regulatory Enforcement group, concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on labor and employment. She has broad experience defending both single plaintiff and class action employment cases. Her employment litigation practice includes virtually all types of discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and hour claims, trade secret misappropriation claims, whistleblower claims, restrictive covenants, Fair Credit Reporting Act claims, and WARN Act claims. Fordyce also holds employment training seminars, counselling clients on employment to help them avoid litigation.
