Gretchen Ramos and Darren Abernethy Speak at ACC Foundation’s Cybersecurity Summit

SAN FRANCISCO – Jan. 28, 2020 –  Shareholder Gretchen Ramos and Of Counsel Darren Abernethy of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s San Francisco office will speak at the ACC Foundation’s Cybersecurity Summit, Jan. 28, at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.

Sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, the summit will focus on the latest threats and innovations related to cybersecurity and how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to data breaches. Speakers include attorneys, professors, industry leaders, and government officials.

Ramos will participate in a session titled “New Regulations: The Difference between CCPA, GDPR, and other upcoming global regulations.” The panel will discuss recent data protection laws and strategies for creating a comprehensive data protection program.

Abernethy will participate in a session titled “Insider Trading: Cyber breach, what do you share?” The panel will discuss how to build a coordinated response plan that addresses the needs of both your security and privacy teams in the event of a cyber breach.
