Greenberg Traurig Launches ‘ABC Podcast,’ Providing In-Depth Analysis of Anti-Bribery and Corruption Law

DENVER – July 21, 2020  – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has launched the ABC Podcast, providing multidisciplinary analysis of the latest developments and trends in anti-bribery and corruption law. The podcast is available on the Greenberg Traurig website, as well as on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and Spotify.

The ABC Podcast explores current events related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), provides analysis into topics and trends related to anti-bribery enforcement worldwide, and insights into effective anti-corruption compliance programs.

Episode 1, "The ABCs of Recent FCPA Enforcement," provides a summary of corporate and individual FCPA enforcement cases and trends over the last 18 months.  In addition, the episode discusses ways that companies may be able to mitigate risk based on these recent enforcement cases.

The podcast was created by Greenberg Traurig anti-corruption lawyer Cuneyt A. Akay, administrative shareholder of the firm's Denver office.

“Anti-corruption compliance is something I care deeply about because corruption is both a global problem and bad for business,” Akay says.  “I started this podcast to help legal and compliance professionals stay current with anti-corruption trends and, more importantly, to discuss practical considerations for compliance programs designed to mitigate risks.”
