Nikki Lewis Simon to Present Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Webinar for Florida International Bankers Association

MIAMI – June 16, 2021Nikki Lewis Simon, a shareholder and chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) officer of global law firm, Greenberg Traurig, P.A., will speak on the topic of DEI implementation at  a webinar hosted by the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA) on June 22 at 11 a.m. EST.

The webinar is the first in a series designed to give bankers the tools needed to implement a successful DEI program or build on already existing initiatives. The discussion will include topics related to the implementation, management, challenges and benefits of a diversity program, including successful initiatives, challenges, program structure, program management impact on recruitment, retention and employee development, governance, metrics, and more.

Simon, a commercial litigator in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, has more than 21 years of experience and primarily serves as the firm’s chief DEI officer. In this capacity, she designs and guides strategic initiatives and programs to deepen firmwide diversity and inclusion efforts that further enrich client engagements and community investments. Her role is indicative of, and integral to, Greenberg Traurig’s core values of collaboration and inclusion – principles that inform the firm’s operations and legal business in meaningful, positive ways.
