Michelle DuCharme focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling matters. She assists employers in a broad range of single and multi-plaintiff class action employment matters throughout California, including wage and hour, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Michelle represents clients in both state and federal court, and before administrative agencies including the Labor Commissioner, Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Michelle also counsels employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, including assisting with drafting employment policies and handbooks, employee terminations, drafting employment and severance agreements, and evaluating employee classifications.
Michelle also has experience in intellectual property law, including establishing and protecting trademark and domain-name rights, as well as in trade secret litigation and counseling.
