Alejandra Garcia Earley handles financing, development, and management of domestic and international power, energy, and infrastructure-related projects, as well as other corporate matters. She also structures, drafts, and leads negotiations for transaction documents related to project finance, investment tax credit, and mid and large cap leveraged transactions. She represents clients from a wide range of industries including financial institutions, developers, sponsors, lenders, and asset owners in the power industry.

  • Advised the Sponsor and project company in connection with the construction of the Lake Charles LNG 16.2 MTPA LNG liquefaction facility in Louisiana, including negotiation of the construction management agreement, the O&M agreement and the liquefaction services agreements.°
  • Advised the Sponsor in the financings of accommodations, operations, and maintenance vessels to provide services to Pemex in Mexico.°
  • Advised Banks and Corporations in the investment tax credit equity purchase of a residential and commercial solar portfolios with Vivint, Tesla, and SunPower throughout the United States.°
  • Advised the Sponsor in connection with the Colombian Peso construction and operation of a hydro power plant on the Atrato River.°
  • Advised the Commercial Lenders in connection with the borrowing base revolving credit facility for a business development company.°
  • Advised Export Credit Agencies and Banks in the working capital facilities for copper and gold mines in Chile.°
  • Advised the Sponsor in the export credit financing for the first transmission PPP in Uruguay.°
  • Advised the Commercial Lenders in the financing of a major natural gas pipeline in Mexico.°
  • Advised the Commercial Lenders in the financings of shallow-water oil rigs (jack-ups) and deep-water oil rigs chartered to Pemex in Mexico.°
  • Advised the Sponsor in the proposed construction and financing of an off-shore water treatment plant in Mexico.°
  • Advised international consortium in the bidding process for the purchase of a minority interest in a portfolio of toll roads in Mexico.°
  • Advised Export Credit Agency in connection with the potential financing of the Noreste, Topolobampo II and Topolobampo III IPP Projects with the CFE.°
  • Advised the Commercial Lenders in the financing of a gas-fired power project in Colombia.°
  • Advised the Commercial Lenders in the leveraged financing for the purchase of oil and gas assets in the Dominican Republic.°
  • Advised the Sponsor in the financing for the expansion of the Curaçao International Airport.°
