Andrew Chongseh Kim is a litigator with experience who represents clients in a range of disputes including oil and gas, commercial transactions, bankruptcy, ownership disputes, and white collar investigations. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Andrew served as a law school professor at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. His research, sponsored by the Committee of 100, has been widely cited in television, newspapers, Congressional proceedings and briefs to the United States Supreme Court. Andrew applies his keen legal acumen to his passionate representation of his clients. He represents Asian Americans in investigations related to suspected economic espionage, and most recently he defended a client in connection to ownership rights of a gaming company.

Andrew is a passionate community leader. As General Counsel for the bi-partisan Korean Americans for Political Action, he works to empower Asian Americans on both sides of the aisle. As a leader of the Korean American Association and Community Center of Houston, he negotiated an agreement with the Harris County Clerk regarding voting rights for the Houston Asian American community. He serves as co-chair of the Asian American Bar Association’s Community Service and Pro Bono Committee and serves on the board of the Korean American Association and Community Center of Houston. Andrew graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and clerked for Justice Richard N. Palmer of the Connecticut Supreme Court. In addition to being a Greenberg Traurig attorney, Andrew holds the title of Visiting Scholar at South Texas College of Law in Houston.
