Tim McGibboney is a member of the Health Care Practice in Greenberg Traurig's Houston office. He is a business and health care attorney advising a wide variety of health care providers including hospitals, health systems, physician practices, health care management organizations, clinical laboratories, telehealth providers, and other health care organizations on virtually all aspects of health care law. He also assists private equity firms and venture capital groups with investments in the health care industry involving regulatory due diligence reviews of target acquisitions, negotiated transaction documents, and general oversight of such investments with health regulatory compliance.
Tim handles matters related to a wide variety of health care business and regulatory issues including those involving corporate governance matters, various fraud and abuse matters including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act issues, Medicare/Medicaid and other third-party payor billing, reimbursement, and investigation issues, HIPAA, licensure and enrollment, tax-exempt entity regulations, FDA matters, and other compliance issues. Tim also analyzes, negotiates, and drafts numerous health care agreements, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, equity arrangements, debt and equity financing, physician services, cooperative endeavor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and leases.
