Charles G. Minkoff, Ph.D. is a Practice Group Attorney in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice of the Firm’s New York Office. Charles focuses his practice on complex patent litigation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, including Hatch-Waxman litigation. He has wide-ranging experience litigating complex pharmaceutical and drug-delivery technologies, including anti-retrovirals, anti-emetics, sustained-release formulations, inhaled corticosteroids, and metered-valve inhaler technologies. He has broad experience counseling clients on a wide range of intellectual property law matters, including freedom-to-operate, patent prosecution, and intellectual property portfolio development, acquisition, and monetization strategies. In addition, he has counseled clients ranging from startups to late-stage multinationals in a variety of industries including software, electronics, consumer products, fashion, and cosmetics. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Charles founded his own law firm, where he advised venture capitalists and early-stage startups on intellectual property matters. Charles has a Ph.D. in cellular biology and, prior to practicing law, was a research scientist.
